What exactly are climbing holds?
What are climbing holds?
Holds are artificially manufactured handholds mounted on climbing walls. They allow for targeted training of technique, strength, and movement patterns – whether indoors or at home. They come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and materials.
What material do we use – and why?
Material & durability of our climbing holds
Our holds are primarily made of robust polyester resin (PE), a proven material with excellent grip, high impact resistance, and a long lifespan. We also manufacture some models from polyurethane (PU), which is particularly lightweight and impact-resistant. Both materials are suitable for intensive use in climbing gyms and on home walls.
Are our holds ergonomic?
Ergonomics & Safety in Climbing
The shape of our holds is designed to protect tendons and joints. Anatomically sound designs create natural gripping positions that support healthy and sustainable climbing training.
Which screws fit our holds?
Mounting & Compatibility
All holds are designed for mounting with M10 socket head cap screws. They can also be secured with Spax screws. They are compatible with all common climbing walls, regardless of the substrate (wood, OSB, plywood, etc.).
